Chasing Waves

Mazatlan, Sinaloa

If there is one thing that I wanted to do in every minute of my life, it's chasing waves.
I could not express more how I love the beach and how I wanted to live by the beach.
Chasing waves just gives me the thrill that I needed.
I wish i knew how to surf, but what I mean by chasing waves is jumping when it comes or diving when it is about to fold.

The beach is definitely perfect.
When you are hungry, the food is there.
Thirsty, water all over the place.
Needed to pee, you save time washing your hands too.
I wish I could just quit everything that I am committed to now and live by the beach.
But I am for sure more than that.
I wanted to make a difference and with that idea comes these things that I will be doing.

We got a week of no classes to give way for the Easter Week.
Here's a round up of my schedule.

March 31: Leaves to Mazatlan
April 1: Beach
April 2: Arts Museum, Brother's Birthday
April 3: Beach
April 4: Beach
April 5: Beach, Getting drunk, getting in an anthro for free @ 4am, going home @ 7am.
April 6: Beach, Getting drunk.
April 7: Beach
April 8: Back in GDL.

Can you imagine how dark I am?
I love it!
Nothing really crazy happened though.
Just how I wanted it to be.
I felt very refreshed. But no not really. LOL
This trip was very much tiring.
Although a lot of it includes the beach, we went home just to sleep and eat and then go out again.
It was really fun though.
Not as I was used to during the Easter break, which includes textbooks and final exams.
I would definitely go back to Mazatlan with the family.
Such a perfect place to go with the bloodline.

We also went to Puerto Vallarta.

There were so much people by the beach and the nightlife is so alive!
I felt like the town is so busy that life where everyone is just wasted is existent.

One of the reasons why I went on this trip is to practice my Spanish.
I went with 2 girls, which only one speaks English.
I was so glad as I got all the Spanish practice that I could get.
We were speaking the language all of the trip which I must say, helped me a lot.
Which makes me think, I have never spoken Tagalog for quite a while now.
I even forgot the Tagalog word for beach. Dagat?

If there is one thing I regret doing on this trip, is that
on Wednesday, I brought my Ipod to the beach.
Suddenly, a really big wave sprung out and watered all of our things, including my Ipod.
Sadly, it would not turn on again. :(

I had so much fun this one whole week though.
May not seem to be a lot but I had a lot of reflection done.
These reflections just made my personality more defined and bolder.

While all others are flickering over alcohol or their own puke.
I am definitely satisfied with my quiet week.
Happy Easter!

Much Love
